1. Introduction#

  4. Retrieve Number

    • Only iPhone users can see the assigned Austrian number in iMessage after installation; Android devices typically cannot read the number (the blogger's Pixel also cannot read it).

3. Summary and Usage Tips#

  • This free eSIM: zero cost + 1 year validity + includes an Austrian number, can receive SMS, and provides emergency internet access.
  • Suitable for light roaming/code receipt; not recommended for long-term binding in high-security scenarios (like banking).
  • Usage suggestions:
    1. Activate and test domestically first to ensure the QR code and configuration are normal.
    2. Use it as a secondary card while traveling, keeping the primary card's data roaming off to avoid accidental charges.
    3. Manage data usage: watch fewer videos, use Wi-Fi more, and set data limits in the system.
    4. Follow the author's group for updates on new activities/packages.
